BUDE

Surely among the  best  beach resorts in cornwall.  A family style resort amidst  unspoilt countryside.  Bude is well known for its large classic sandy beaches.   At low tide the beaches combine allowing miles of beach &cliff walks.  A great surfing beach (mainly Crooklets), can hire surf boards & equipment-surf championships are often held here.  Probably unique to Bude, on Summerlease main beach, is the huge free open air swimming pool. Unusually, pets are welcome on Summerlease & the main beaches along this stretch of coastline (the exceptionis Crooklets beach).  Boating hire (rowing boats(  and walks  along Bude Canal (bird sanctuary Nature Reserve, with a cafe at the end of the walk!  Bude  town has plentiful pubs, restaurants and cafes, a good alternative to the much busier resort of Newquay.
